The World Curling Tour was officially founded in 2005, with its headquarters located in Zurich, Switzerland.
World Competition System: It has established competitions at different levels such as the Championship Series, Masters Series and Challenge Series based on points and annual rankings. Approximately 300 curling events of various levels are held worldwide each year, attracting about 750 men's teams and 350 women's teams to participate, with competitions taking place in 20 different countries.
As the world's largest and highest-level professional curling league, nearly all Olympic and World Championship curling medalists compete regularly in the World Curling Tour, which has greatly promoted the development of curling around the world.
In 2022, the Asia-Pacific headquarters of the World Curling Tour settled in Xindu District, Chengdu. After settling down, it plans to take Chengdu as the center to introduce top international ice and snow event performances in China and the Asia-Pacific region, establish high-level ice and snow sports clubs, cultivate and transport outstanding reserve talents, train professional personnel, develop professional facilities and equipment, and provide consulting services, etc.
